Come and find me, my name is Macarena I'm always at the party Con las chicas que estan buenas Come join me, dance with me And all you fellows chant along with 1996년 빌보드 싱글차트 14주간 정상을 차지 하며 마카레나 춤을 전세계에 유행시켰던 노래이다. 마카레나는 포르투칼어로는 '농담(just kidding)이다' 라는 뜻이다. 안토니오 로메로가 작곡 작사한 이 곡은 베네주엘라의 한 댄서에게서 영감을 받은 그날 밤에 완성된 곡이라 한다. 허영기 있는 소녀에게는 '마카레나'라는 이름을, 그녀의 남자친구에게는 스페인의 유명한 가축회사 이름인 '비토리노'라는이름을 붙여 가사를 만들고, 그 찬사를 노래의 후렴구로 만들었다고 한다. 이 곡의 가사는 비토리노가 군대에 가 있는 동안 마카레나가 그의 친구 2명과 시시덕거리면서 쇼핑 여행같은 것들이나 꿈꾸고 있다는 내용이다.
